UPPSC Lower Subordinate Exam 2016 Syllabus
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is now setting up for the arrangement of written examination for various posts of Lower subordinates during the current financial year. It is important for the applicants to know about the exam pattern and what questions will be asked in the written examination.
UPPSC Lower PCS Syllabus for Pre-examination -
- General Science
- Indian Agriculture
- Elementary mathematics up to class 10th.
- Current events of National and International importance.
- History of India and Indian National movement.
- Indian economy and social development.
- Indian Polity and Governance, Constitution, Political system, Panchayati Raj & Public Policy, rights issues, etc.
- Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
UPPSC Lower PCS Syllabus for main examination (Paper- I)
- General Science
- General human behavior
- Gandhian thoughts
- Computer knowledge
- Statistical Analysis
- General Mental Ability
- U.P. Specific questions
- Logical & critical reasoning and analytical ability.
- Current Affairs of National and International Importance.
- General Awareness and Knowledge of Indian Constitution and Panchayati Raj system
- Interpersonal Skills including Communication Skills, Decision making and Problem-solving
Time duration – 2 hrs(from 09:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
- Maximum marks – 200
- No. of questions - 120
There will be two parts in this section –
- General Hindi language – 100 marks
- Essay writing in Hindi language – 100 marks
